• Transportation of 22 LMT coal is open for lifiting/ collection from any mines of CCL by the transporters for transporting the above mentioned quantity of coal by deploying sufficient numbers of tipping trucks/dumpers.

• The transporters shall lift allotted quantity of coal simultaneously from different mines.

• The quantity to be transported per month shall be allotted to the Contractor on the  basis of availability of vehicles with the transporter, availability of at Colliery & requirement of the same from time to time and as per allocation/ linkage made thereof by the concerned CCL authorities.

1. The bidder should have following pre-requisite qualification:-
   (1)(i) They should have adequate experience of successfully completed similar works during any three years over the last 7(seven) financial years & should meet any one of the following criteria:-
   
   (a) Each bidder must have completed three similar works at a value not less than 10% of the estimated cost.
                                                                                 or
   (b) Each bidder must have completed two similar works each not less than 15% of the estimated cost.
                                                                                 or
   (c) Each bidder must have completed one similar works each not less than 20% of the estimated cost.
   
   NOTE:
   Similar work means-
   Transportation of coal, removal of coal, overburden, shale, extraneous material, sands, ash etc. to projects under public undertakings, Govt. organizations, Joint Sector Enterprises (managed) jointly by Govt. and Private Agency, Public Limited Company etc. of repute.
   
   (2) The bidder must have up to date bank solvency certificate of not less than 20% of the quote value of the work. The bidder should submit the certificate of solvency, access to line of credit & availability of other financial resources. Such certificate shall be dated within three months before the date of tender opening.
   
   (3) The bidder must have valid labour license, EPF code etc.
   
   (4) The bidder or any of his owner must not be related directly or indirectly to any employee of the Nigam and must submit an affidavit to this effect.
   
   (5) They should have an up to date audited balance sheet, profit and loss account of last three consecutive financial years ending 31st March 2010.
   
   (6) The tenderer has to produce the original documents for verification at the time of purchase of BOQ; a copy of the same is to be submitted at the time of procurement of bid document. However, the final decision of the eligibility criteria will be evaluated according to the documents submitted with the offer and that will be final. BOQ may be obtained from Accounts Officers, TVNL, Ranchi on payment of its cost (non refundable) in the form of Demand Draft issue by any Nationalized Bank / Scheduled Bank in favour of "Tenughat Vidyut Nigam Ltd", payable at Ranchi after verification of documents by undersigned.
   
   (7) Earnest Money to be deposited in the form of demand draft drawn from any Nationalized Bank / Scheduled Bank in favour of "Tenughat Vidyut Nigam Limited" payable at Ranchi.
   
   (8) If last date of sale of tender paper and/or date of submission & opening of tender is declared a holiday or there is unavoidable functional disruptions at our premises, due to unforeseen circumstances or administrative reasons, then that/those will be shifted to the next working date at the same time.
   
   (9) Intending tenderers are requested to visit the TVNL's website (www.tvnlonline.com) regularly for any amendment/addendum/corrigendum/extension, if any, till opening of the NIT.
    

2. (i) Tender documents shall be issued to those bidders who comply with the above pre-requisite qualification and on production of documentary evidence.
   (ii) Estimate quantity may increase or decrease as per requirement of power station.
   (iii) Tender without Earnest Money will not be accepted. TVNL reserves the right to reject any or all the tenders and to increase/decrease or distribute the job among the tenderer without assigning any reason thereof.
