Application for fixation of Generation Tariff of TVNL:::

Tenughat Vidyut Nigam Limited has filed a petition for fixation of
Generation Tariff for the F/Y 2007-08 before the Jharkhand State
Electricity Regulatory Commission, Ranchi under the provisions of
the Electricity Act 2003. The said application is currently before
JSERC for consideration.

The tariff
determination of Generating Station is the prerogative of the
commission after considering the submissions made in the petition
filed by the petitioner.

Pursuant to section
64(2) of the Electricity Act, the TVNL hereby issues this Public
Notice.

5. Any person(s)
desirous of obtaining, inspecting or pursuing the said application
filed before JSERC may do so before the
Joint Secretary(Tech.), TVNL, Hinoo, Ranchi on any
working day from
1st September 2007 to 24th
September 2007 between 11.00 AM and 4.00 PM.
6. Copy of application
may be purchased from the above address on
payment of Rs.15/- per
copy either in cash or by Demand Draft/Pay Order in favour of
Tenughat Vidyut Nigam Limited payable
at Ranchi. 7. An person(s) having
representation/objections/comments/suggestions on the tariff
proposal/petition may file their representations/objections/comments/suggestions in writing, either
in English or Hindi (six copies each) before the
Joint Secretary (Tech.), Hinoo, Ranchi -
834 002 on any working day from 1st September 2007 to 24th
September, 2007 between 11.00 AM to 4.00 PM with a copy to the
Secretary JSERC, 2nd Floor, Rajendra Bhawan-cum-Sainik Bazar, Main
Road, Ranchi-834 001.
